Two weeks ago, I received an unusual invitation that instantly interested me. Warriors, epidemics and natural disasters have proved many times that human civilization is very fragile and, in case of serious danger, the world can collapse. So it happened.

The hero of our story named Aiden also became interested in these rumors, but for his reasons. Somewhere there, among the gray houses of old Villedor, his painful past still lives. Perhaps in this hell there is still a place for a miracle and this city was able to remain untouched. Aiden decides to go to a meeting with his past to put old children’s fears in my head.

Dying Light 2 continues the tradition of the series and will again offer the player a big open world, where the art of Parskuro rules everyone. The storyline here will perform our conductor according to locations and an indicator of progress, where new locations will open. From the very beginning we will be introduced to the majestic old Villedor, where people and the dead are adjacent. In the day of the city, the city’s streets look safe because of the sluggish zombies and the abundance of light, but if you really want to get a portion of thrills, then you will have to master the night life of the city. Here, strong mutants are selected on the surface and escaped samples from military laboratories. It will not work to hide on the roof, because these creatures perfectly hear and smell the player in a few hundred meters. All hope for our skills parkour and a charged UV background.

Dying Light 2 perfectly speculates the theme of stripping outposts and towers, but, unlike many other games with similar mechanics, here it is vital. The construction of refugee camps form safe zones where we will expect a place for an overnight stay and arms cache. Despite my gameplay, I got to update with the addition of firearms, I could not try it – time was running out. But I was pleasantly surprised by the addition of the possibility of repairing weapons and starting boosterpacks with imbia weapons. Yes, there is a lot of donat here, but it is all cosmetic. Armor in the game gives only an aesthetic component and a little perks, but still all the emphasis will be made precisely on the weapon of near -battle, which can be supplied with modules and improvements.

Parkur in Dying Light 2 is perfectly implemented and, thanks to it, to move around the world of the game is interesting. The visual of old Villedor and other locations perfectly conveys the spirit of post -apocalypse and pleases the eye with an abundance of details. The sensation of height and the gameplay saturated with action gives a non -bonded portion of adrenaline and causes trembling in the hands. The artificial intelligence of opponents of course leaves much to be desired, but when we will be forced to accept the battle in a confined space, it is no longer a joke.

I think the weakest place of the game is not stupid opponents and towering, but its plot. For a long time I did not encounter that during the passage I did not have sympathy for any character. Everyone tries to wipe their feet or use the protagonist that only exacerbates to the end of the game. Of course I understand that in the world post -apocalypse and many people lost humanity not only externally, but when everyone is without exceptions, this is no longer funny. The unexpected consequences of some plot elections also caused me a smile, where it is impossible to maintain neutrality with all the fractions, and in the case of choice not in favor of the other side – a complete stripping of everyone and everything, including bossFites with key characters. The endings do not shine with their diversity and do not add joy to the final impression of gameplay. Double standards, inflating trifling situations and illogical actions of characters are very striking. It feels like the authors of the game initially wanted to make the main character the unhappy, but instead of compassion, only disappointment is felt in the soul.

As a result, I would like to say that I liked Dying Light 2. Here is a great gameplay with an abundance of Parru and a simple fight with jamming of opponents. The world of the game is large and colorful and it will definitely appeal to Luta hunters, because here everything is literally drowned in containers with resources. Due to the addition of gunshots and the principles with a system of agents, Dying Light 2 may well find a second life where the world built by the player will really work and help its creator. On the other hand, you should not especially count on the depth of the local plot, because it is absolutely superficial and template. The characters do not attract either appearance or actions, so it is better not to focus on this. If you like to study the open world, create your own story, clean the towers and load with adrenaline from Parkur at high altitude, then you should definitely try to look into the brutal world of Dying Light 2.
